I have no idea
what i can be
But I just know
that I am the director of this show
Multitasking Dear dairy, Multitasking is seriously an ART. Was in school waiting for my audition for samba to start together with hongwei, that was when i realized how slow i can actually be. I took 1 whole hour to clear emails ONLY, while hongwei did a lot of things in the same timeframe, played game, chat, do homework. He sure is a multitasker. I felt really slow, really.
Was thinking about that when I was on the train, on the secrets to successful multitasking: (Perhaps these might be true) 1. Do not procrastinate. 2. Finish up what you are supposed to do before the amount of tasks keeps increasing. 3. Have an UPDATED to do list. 4. Do not stone too much in front of the com! (Very applicable to me) The list is non-exhaustive, at least to me. Okay suh shall have a trial period of one week.
Later part of second week of university life was better as compared to the first week, it passed rather quickly, so quick until I cannot recall what exactly happened on which day. Perhaps it is because I'm getting used to the life where textbooks, laptops, pen, pencil, notebook, etc are essential. Perhaps.
Math for Econs was mind triggering as usual. Differentiations, provings, young's theorem, and the list goes on... They just leave me with a huge question mark on my head when lessons end. IntroStats was surprisingly engaging, everyone in the class actually started listening to Larry's lesson. Was on the topic on probability, binomial distribution. I seriously do not like graphic calculator, though convenient, but the amount of functions it have just turns you off. I could not remember what command to press for what question on the graphic calculator. And on top of that, the fact that i realised that is when I was doing a graded quiz just makes me felt even more sian-ed. Woot that means one more "homejoy" for the weekends. Now its time to say HIP HIP HOORAY to suh! Her class participation for Business Society and Government, and Creative Thinking is no longer zero marks! The feeling was really great. The satisfaction from no fear is really good! Though the feeling of raising your hand up high and at the same time panicking what if the prof chose you and your mind MIGHT blank out was not very good, for it feels like your heart is on the verge of jumping out from your chest. But when things are over, the feeling when you felt relieved was good, I like. HIP HIP HOORAY for suh! Creativity Class was so nice! Next week i hope we get to watch more videos, i hope the professor will let us watch some documentary on nature or animals. Samba Masala audition was really fun, hopefully i can get in and play the snare drum. Percussion is such a cool section, why did I retaliated that section so many years ago? Disclaimer: I still LOVE french horns +). Oh by the way a French Horn player is a "hornist", not "horny".
(Graduation Songs comes in) Hectic Hectic!
"Never be afraid to make mistakes". ".~Dewitt Jones, National Geographic photographer. For mistakes help you to realise new opportunities and to learn better. That's when you can make a difference. I felt so brainwashed by CT class, prof yong reminds me of Adam Khoo workshop that I went during sec3. Motivational. But its a good thing afterall i suppose? =) My mind is as open as how you open durian shells to get the fruits.
Sleeping time. Bye |
